Seal of Excellence in Franchising: discover the brands participating in Franchising Brasil approved in 2024

In March, the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) announced the franchises awarded with the Seal of Excellence in Franchising (SEF) 2024; an honor achieved through an independent satisfaction survey conducted by Nielsen with franchisees of registered chains. 

Of the 230 Brazilian franchises approved in this edition, 42 are part of Franchising Brasil, the sector’s internationalization program carried out through a partnership between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and ABF.

The SEF is granted based on criteria such as franchisee assistance, support, training, cost-benefit, return on investment, among others. Franchises are classified into four categories: Pleno, Senior, Master and Mega, depending on the number of franchisees, units and time on the market.

According to Tom Moreira Leite, president of ABF, “there is systemic excellence in the Brazilian franchising sector that consists of a holistic approach that aims to ensure that all aspects of the network operate at the highest level. This fact not only increases franchisees’ chances of individual success, but also strengthens the brand as a whole, creating a situation in which everyone wins, and this is reflected in the Seal of Excellence in Franchising.”

For Bruno Amado, executive manager of Franchising Brasil, seeing so many brands participating in the internationalization program approved is proof of their enormous potential for expansion and quality. “The Seal of Excellence shows that these companies are recognized by their franchisees for their seriousness in their work and are in full expansion”, he states.

In this 32nd edition, 59 brands were recognized in the Full category, 90 in the Senior category, 58 in the Master category and 23 in the Mega category. To see the full list of award-winning brands, click here.
