The Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) announced, in March of this year, the franchises that received the Seal of Excellence in Franchising (SEF) 2025, a recognition granted based on independent satisfaction surveys carried out by Nielsen with franchisees of associated networks.
In this year’s edition, 286 Brazilian franchises were approved, of which 36 are part of Franchising Brasil, the sector’s internationalization project carried out through a partnership between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and ABF.
To be certified by SEF, the franchise must meet a series of criteria such as franchisee support, training, cost-benefit, return on investment, among others. The seal is divided into four categories, according to the number of franchisees, units and years of operation: Full, Senior, Master and Mega.
For Bruno Amado, executive manager of Franchising Brasil, having participating brands awarded the seal highlights the quality of the franchisors’ operations. “The large number of members who received the Seal of Excellence demonstrates the companies’ commitment to franchising, driving the growth of the sector in Brazil and worldwide,” he adds.
