Franchising Brasil promotes a trip for international investors to Brazil during ABF Franchising Expo 2024

Between June 26th and 29th, 2024, ABF Franchising Expo 2024 will take place, one of the biggest franchise events in the world, and Franchising Brasil – the sector’s internationalization program – invited a group of international investors to this great meeting.

Held through a partnership between the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), Franchising Brasil will bring six professionals from the global franchise market to the 2024 edition of the Projeto Comprador (Buyer Project). 

The group will have the opportunity to negotiate with Brazilian franchises during business rounds, and will have an agenda that includes a cocktail party to celebrate the bicentenary of Brazil’s diplomatic relations with the United States, on June 28th. 

Sebastian Sanint, a Colombian retail and food businessman, is looking for new businesses to fill his more than 40 commercial locations, while Paulina Alvarez, a Chilean businesswoman in the franchise sector, is looking for a Brazilian franchise to act as a master franchisee in Chile, with interest in sectors such as fast food, fashion and jewelry. Peruvian Jorge Wong, owner of the Embarcadero brand, 41, is interested in disruptive concepts in segments such as Food, Health, Beauty and Wellbeing and Fashion.

Also included in the group are consultants Gaurav Marya, from India, founder of Franchise India Group, a leading consultancy in solutions for small businesses and franchises; Victor Daccaret Riadi, from Chile, executive director of the consultancy Franquicias Chile, which facilitates the entry of foreign companies into the country; and Gabriel Boero, from Paraguay, director of BG Group, specialized in the development and expansion of businesses and investments in the region.
